I made application for a furbaby, and I might get one of these doggies.
I'm a little nervous, but MANgo and I decided we might take the leap if the right one presents itself.

So far, I have a few options. The older dog is female and just had puppies, but she is housebroken and very gentle. We wanted a boy dog, but may consider her. The orange hound mix is one of her puppies. These are all pound puppies in foster care. I'm also on my way to make application at the pound for 4 boy puppies that became available. They are a mix of jack russell and schnauzer, but they are adorable. Not sure how the pound situation will work out because they will not let me pick from the litter and apparently have a waiting list. They tell me this after I see the dogs. Do not have a picture. You'd think they want to match personalities. There was one I took a liking to.
The labs come as a pair, but they may consider splitting them.

I don't think they will split the labs up, though, and I am not ready for 2 dogs.

The puggle is cute, the black and white is adorable, but I worry about nipping with Jack Russells. So, confused. :dunno:

I guess I have to meet them and see our if personalities gel.

Ahh, they are all so sweet. I never had a female until our lab and will never have another male. Our female was so much easier to housebreak, none of that marking that males do.

I am sure it will be hard decision, but you are kind to rescue any of them. Good luck and keep us posted on the decision.

Puppies are so cute!

I'd go with the gentle trained female. We got our first house dog and first female at one year old and she came well trained. It was a blessing because we probably wouldn't have done as good of job as the previous owner had.
She also may be the one less likely for people to choose, because she isn't a puppy. Just something to think about while you're out there falling in love with them all! :D

Good luck! It will be a lucky dog whichever one gets you for an owner.

Oh - so glad you are adopting. I used to be the Director for SE Bloodhound Rescue for the Great State of GA. If you love a loving hound who bays and is lazy, I can easily fix you up!! Sweet Pea would be honored!!!

Puggles are really cute as puppies, but I have never seen a grown one that was particularly attractive...:dunno:
