I'm OK, major tornado damage in OKC.

Just thought I would let all my friends on sowal know that my family and I are ok in OKC although our city has major damage. We had at least two tornados hit around 3-4 pm. today. School kids were in duck and cover mode for almost two hours. Might be too early still to know for sure, but so far, no fatalities. Our storm chasers and weather guys are some of the best for tornado's so we had plenty of warning.

I was about to get my roof replaced from hail damage in November, looks like I might be in line now.

Praying for all my fellow okc/edmond neighbors...

Glad you're OK Dunelover. I've been watching pics of OK City on the news.:shock:
If any of that "baseball-size hail" they reported hit your roof you certainly may be getting in line. We'll probably get damaging hail after we re-roof. (We've sorta been holding off - hoping?)

2 hours in duck and cover! I bet the kids were not very happy campers .......

Only thing I hate worse than earthquakes, is hail and tornadoes. I'll take hurricanes any day. At least you know they are coming a few days in advance. Take care. Lots of good friends and family in harms way tonight.
