Hi All, I am a newbie here in Walton County AND I have never opened a business but I would like to research it as a potential future endeavor. Does anyone have advise on the best sites to research? Is there a page somewhere about how to apply for a business license in Walton County and any other details that could get me up to speed on requirements? Thank you in advance!

In an effort to one up the rest of state on Freedoms Walton County requires no business license of any kind.
That's right, just throw up your shingle and start a business!
The only exception to this is if you are going to be vending on the beach, then you'll need an annual Vendors license. Code compliance handles those:
