Is anything made in China NOT tainted?

That was my question last night when I was watching "Fresh" and they talked about how honey from China had some metal or chemical in it so we had to stop importing it for a while.

Name a product or category and it has been recalled for major safety issues (more than 50% of recalls are Chinese made goods) ............... yet we still import most of our products from there.

And people keep buying them? WTF?

IMHO buying anything edible (or that children think might be edible) or that can have a major influence on the air quality in your home (ike drywall or a furnace) is crazy.

For most other things, you often have no choice. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and try and find tools. furniture, nails, lights, etc... that are not made in China.
