Is one holiday busier than another?

All summer. With The 4th being the peak, and probably the most busy.
Labor Day can be more mellow because many schools in the south have begun and that slows the family visitors.
Back in the day...Labor Day was the beginning of the "lovers season". Mostly couples w/o kids were the most prevalent tourists.

It's steady all summer with big peaks on those three holiday weeks. Especially 4th of July. Crazy!
Then we have crowds throughout fall shoulder season as its really nice weather here, many festivals and events (too many some would say), fall breaks, etc. Thanksgiving week is crowded and so is week just after Christmas. Not summer level but still quite busy. It's good for local business.
