My ex can fix just about anything electronic, but whether he would or not is questionable. Most of the time it's cheaper just to buy a new one than to get it repaired. Good idea to check the power source, sometimes you can unplug it, or remove the battery, and let it sit for a few minutes and it will reset to original. Sometimes the contacts have gotten corroded and need to be cleaned, rubbing alcohol is good to do that. Also, check if it's dusty inside, try to blow out the dust that accumulates. They also sometimes tend to overheat if not allowed room to breathe.
