Finally after weeks of yellow and purple. It is a GREEN flag day. The beach looks great. I think I might have seen that tell tale color of June Grass Kurt was talking about at Dune Allen and Sandestin. So locals and those lucky enough to be there to day. How is it? :chill:

From our walkover this morning it was simply magnificent. The dolphins were playing and the water close to the shore was absolutely crystal clear. There did appear to be some signs of June grass further out and as one boat mad a turn through it, he left a clear trail. Very few people on the beach and that is fine, too. What a great place to live!

Yay! Very cool and hope some folks had funn. Please keep in mind that a green flag does not designate the Gulf of Mexico a kiddy pool.

uh oh red flags today everybody be careful. But if sometime this weekend somebody could do a liittle check on the green stuff. That would help to fuel my daily obsession with the beach conditions and would be much appreciated.

Thinking about a Visit

I actually have two consecutive days off I took to be with my kids, but has anyone ever heard of pernetal Alienation? Anyway, since I can't be with them but have the time off, I was wondering what the underwater looked like.

From experience, I know that even if the water looks crystal clear from above, if recent wave action and weather has chopped things up, it can take quite some time for the water to be conducive to good snorkeling.

I see green flags have overtaken things for now. First, is that anticipated to stay through the weekend and is there anyone here who has been underwater viewing of late?
I sure miss my 30A and talk and think about it quite often. Those 5 hour snorkel excursions and walks in the woods are missed, as are my videos, Another Walk with Mike. But I've been working most every day, 7 days a week, for almost a year now, leaving no time for 'Life'. Hopefully this weekend can work out. Although I wish it were with the kids.
Please keep in mind 'divorced parents', Parental Alienation is Child Abuse. No bones about it. It affects the children and will continue to do so possibly the rest of their lives and certainly devastates the affected parent, too. And in the long run, the parent doing the alienating will suffer, too. Please don't do that to your children.
