When I read the start of this post, my thought also was Antonio's in PCB. That is an amazing, NYC style Italian bakery. We first discovered that little plaza during 2007 bike week, stopped there for lunch. We liked it, stopped in other times for $1 draft beers served in icy mugs, always good food. Then we ventured over to Antonio's this past fall bike week and were very pleasantly surprised. I really felt like we were in a Manhatten or Queens bakery, the real thing. On one of our earlier visits to the Pasta Grill we talked to some of the staff and found out they are from NJ, moved down here when the founder of the restaurants was going to retire, but then he did not enjoy being retired as well as he thought he would. They apparently jumped back into the restaurant biz (I am pretty sure I recall they had run a restaurant in NJ). We get to reap the benefits. I think it's a neat place for a casual lunch, nice dinner, or a great bakery stop. We haven't tried Fat Clemenza's yet because every time we pull in there it is closed - I think it's been Sundays, but we have heard good things about it on this board and from others, so we will get in there soon I hope.
