I have...they were one of my Dad's favorites....

I've never taken the Trans-Siberian train--almost did, but my husband chickened out--:bang: one of these days...

Post #50 never got answered, so I will jump in.

I have eaten pickled pigs' feet because Daddy always had a jar in the refrigerator. When I say "eaten," I mean that I tasted them because I was Daddy's girl. So I say that counts!

I've never been to Australia even though my husband has been several times on business. I just don't think I could deal with such a long plane ride. Flying to Tokyo was stressful enough. I mean, you can't drink enough wine to get you through a flight like that, in comparison to flying to Europe. I have a fear of flying, even though I have flown on a regular basis ever since I went to Tulane as a freshman.

Well, I was wearing a bundle of Mardi Gras beads (and I was five), does that count? I actually made it to the top of the slide on the playground down the street before I got caught...

I've never been to Carnivale ... But I'd like to do that, too!

That is on my list too. the trip we had planned before would have taken us from Sapporo, Japan to Vladivostok to Moscow, St Petersburg, into Berlin and then on to Paris from where we would fly back to the states. It was a six weeks trip and would have been quite the adventure to finish up our adventure of living abroad for three years.

Now, I think the Orient Express trip would make me happy. In my old age I have become accustomed to more comfortable surroundings--not so much of an issue when I was 25!:D
