With a name like Jeb, you would think the man was a little backwoods. I would like to state that I think it is cool that Jeb is bi-lingual and that he gives statements in both languages. (I know many people have problems with the Spanish speaking immigrants not speaking English, but I think it is more importante that our Governor is able to communicate with as many residents of his state as possible, especially in times of crises.) He presentation and delivery seems so much more professional than George W. who has difficulty speaking only his native language. :clap_1: :clap_1:

Maybe Jeb in Spanish sounds like W in English. :rotfl:

No, his Spanish is much better than W's English. :rotfl: "There's your sign."

I guess it helps to have a wife named Columba.

Can you say, da,da,da,da,da, W?

The Peaceful Piney Woods.
Poor George, he isn't talented in the speech department, but there are more important qualities to have. After all, Clinton was a wonderful speaker and he lacked some major essentials.

With Jeb's Texas background, Spanish is almost a given. We have a huge spanish-speaking population, and growing everyday. Comes in mighty handy in Florida too I imagine.

I caught part of Jeb's earlier press conference on the radio, and he sounded confident and informative in both languages. I don't agree with the man's politics, but he's an outstanding leader during times of crisis.

Oooh, I didn't think about what this could start. I only mentioned Jeb after seeing his press conference on TV, and I remembered how calm he looked last year with four major storms.
I think this thread could become dangerous. Please refrain from throwing sand if it begins to go there.

Hey, don't mess with Texas ... I mean, Jeb! LOL.

Seriously, every time I email him about something I'm flipped out over relative to the state of Florida (like off-shore drilling), he (i.e., someone in his office) always answers. I respect that responsiveness.

OK, now. All of you Jeb haters don't come slamming down on me. :)
