We were going to buy our cabinetry from one of the national high-end custom cabinet makers. Thank goodness we passed at the last minute because the sales people completely botched the entire pricing mechanism, which was a simple excercise. We lost complete confidence in the professionalism of this local dealer and decided to shop around AGAIN. We were advised to interview John Ely , who is local on Rte. 98. Best thing that ever happened. The quality of the cabinets were better and John's work is all custom, as opposed to the big guys who just make boxes. The stains, paints and glazes are all done with a furniture finish. Piper, who is John's wife does all the design work. She created a better more efficient and beautiful plan which turned out to cost us 25% less !!! Sometimes things happen for a reason !!! Needless to say we are very pleased.
