WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – Dec. 22 – The Walton County Tourism Department is excited to announce the appointment of Josh Ervin as Beach Operations Director.

Ervin's previous experience in public service as executive director of the DeFuniak Springs Community Redevelopment Agency and beach maintenance manager with the Walton County Tourism Department makes him well prepared for his new role.

As Beach Operations Director, Ervin will oversee the maintenance of the county’s beaches, lakes and bay access points, ensuring facilities are clean, safe and well maintained for public use. He will also coordinate with other departments to manage projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations and support a wide range of additional operational responsibilities.

Ervin is a lifelong Walton County resident, proudly hailing from DeFuniak Springs. With a deep-rooted love for his community, Ervin is
thrilled to continue his public service with Walton County Tourism.
