My family and I just moved to Santa Rosa a few weeks ago. I'm looking for recommendations where the great places are to see fireworks this thursday. Is there a place that the "locals" prefer? Thanks for the help!

Anywhere you go along the beach, you will see them. The big fireworks shows are at Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin, and Pier Park. But we (locals) will be on Grayton Beach for sure.
Public access between WaterColor and Seaside is a good spot. You get a good view of all the fireworks from Panama City to Destin, close up of above named devlopments' displays as well as a safe vista to enjoy the annual Grayton Beach militia pyrotechnics spectacular.
