Here's an update on Elam. He's been back here in SoWal and he's still trying to get funding for a one-hour coastal dune lakes documentary which would air on PBS for years to come and be available on DVD. http://coastaldunelakes.org

I think the project would do a lot to protect the lakes and promote tourism to our area. And it would have a shelf life of many years to come.

Similar to his finished project - http://www.bigcypressswamp.org. The local tourist bureau and businesses there rave about the impact it's had.

He's just finishing up a ducumantary in the Kissimmee area in central Florida about the changes the lakes system has undergone over the years. He met some people down there and is now part of the Florida Wildlife Corridor expedition. http://www.floridawildlifecorridor.org

In January, they are traveling 1,000 miles in 100 days along the spine of Florida to the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia. His crew will be filming but he'll also be in front of the camera as part of the "reality-TV" type show.
