Filmmaker Aims His Camera At Coastal Dune Lakes

There's a special category of cinematographer whose job is to bring a camera to bear in places the audience is unlikely to otherwise visit.

They pursue the inaccessible, and render the quiet workings of little-known worlds.

"I get in the water," says Elam Stoltzfus. "That's what you have to do to get your shot. And I love doing it."

Elam has completed his 1,000 mile journey and wants to re-focus on the coastal dune lakes documentary. He needs community support and possibly funding.

Happy to announce that Elam's Coastal Dune Lake documentary has been fully funded by the St. Joe Community Foundation - in addition he has been designated an Artist in Residence for Escape To Create - which provides him an opportunity to spend an extended time here to film.
