Ya know,
I have two other sites that I check on daily> One is the NWFDailynews.com and the other is a similar site to Sowal.com but for the city I lived in last year.
What I have noticed about both of the sites is that the people are just down right nasty and mean. It is certainly true of the NWF daily site and mostly true of the other. It is seldom that any thing can be posted that isn't immediately mocked, ridiculed or hijacked and made into something completely not what the original poster had in mind.
I seldom post on the other two but I lurk, I find it better to not get involved on most threads.
I want to say thanks to you guys for making sowal.com an enjoyable part of my day. Sure, we have our silly times and even times when there may be a spat. For the most part though, no matter what the subject, it seems that the posters here enjoy their lives and that feeling is conveyed in the words you type.
