A message from event organizers:
The situation in Nepal is worsening every hour. The local and government agencies are simply not equipped to adequately respond to a disaster of this magnitude. Many workers are at home with their scared families and are not working. Relief supplies have hit a standstill due to the regions tiny airport being overrun. People are still sleeping in the streets because the aftershocks are so intense. The people they are able to pull from the rubble are severely injured and doctors and medicine are extremely scarce. The death toll rose to over 8,500 with countless injured - both numbers are expected to rise dramatically.

This event we are throwing won't fix much, but just for them to know that a small coastal town on the other side of the world cares enough to go out of their way, raise any amount of money and awareness just to help people they have never met, if we can help one child get food, one family to get shelter or rebuild one business - then we did good.

Nepal is a special place, and they are about to get some love, 30a style!
