Stopped by to visit a friend at her new gallery the other day. The name of the gallery is The Dreaming Tree Gallery and is located in the Village of South Walton. It is one of the little houses out by the fountains.

She is now offering kids paintings with and without direction. She provides an 8x10 stretched canvas (artist grade, not paint by numbers), brushes, and paint. Your child can paint their masterpiece.

She generally keeps the paintings over night for drying and they are ready the next day to pick up.

I was surprised at some of the talent that has already painted. One of the artists (6 years-old) had painted a beautiful abstract without any direction.

Oh and it's $35.00.

swgb, in seacrest? thanks for passing this on - it sounds like a great place to take the kid for a good painting session.

I forgot to mention for really small children they can also do handprints. Keeps the younger ones from whining.

Do you have to be a kid? :dunno: If they go by mental age I'm 5!

Actually no, it's geared towards kids, but I'm sure she would be happy to let anyone paint.

The little huts in front of the big brick thing. With the fountain that kids are forever playing in. I can't get any more specific than that. :D
