Last minute trip--Gulf Front Home rental --> last minute deal needed

I have the Sowal itch again! A friend and I are going to have a girl's week at the beach!

Are there any good last minute rental deals for two no-muss, no-fuss and definitely good behavior renters? This means no kids, no pets, and no smokers! We are well past age 25 and are looking for some sun, sand and solitude. We are not bringing anyone else and there are definitely no, repeat, no spring breakers! (sorry to read of the problems Mango and others have had)


Timing: April 22 for 7 days; start date can slip by a day or two if that helps.


Rental desired: Gulf Front Home or something gulf front in Watersound. If we do not find anything we like in a home then I will post again for other condos/townhomes.


We are looking for gulf front--not gulf view or one block back, etc.


No. of bedrooms: at least two but more are ok. The last place we rented had four bedrooms .


Area for renting: anywhere from Carrillon to just past Dune Allen Beach will be considered. Over the past couple of years we have stayed at Watersound, Seagrove, BMB, and Santa Rosa Beach and are fairly familiar with 30-A and its environs.


Please, no PCB or Destin high rise condo ads. Thank you!

Dusty, why not just phone an agency - Dune Allen, Rivard, etc. Have them tell you what is available while you look at the property on their web site? Or just do a property search through VRBO and make a few calls.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion. I have been talking with agencies...and some places are under discussion.

I went direct to the owners here because some agencies will not ask the owners if they would discount--and given that the places could sit empty I thought I would ask if there were any owners who would be interested--especially so near tax time!
