Mr. Leon “Jack” Franklin Sulfridge, age 91, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born May 12, 1922 in Ewing, Virginia to William Robert Sulfridge and Addie Lee Ramsey Sulfridge.
Mr. Sulfridge was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and was Protestant by faith. He worked in the Container Industry in Maintenance for many years. He was a veteran of World War II serving his country in the U.S. Army Infantry. He was known as Jack the “Bike Man” in the Santa Rosa Beach community for his Bicycle Recycling Business.
Mr. Sulfridge is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 46 years Norma Jean Sulfridge, one son Gary Sulfridge, four brothers James, Ray, Buddy, Stanley Cleveland, two sister Betty Riley, and Jessie Rose.
Mr. Sulfridge is survived by two sisters Billie Sue Hubble of Ewing, Virginia and Delia Gulley of Middleburg, Kentucky.
