Son of a Baptist preacher and nurse, Mike Kinnebrew’s childhood was spread across the southeast until his family finally put down roots in Atlanta when he was a teen. Amidst the chaos, Mike found solace in songwriting because he “was mesmerized by the way a song could reach out and grab you by the heart—or by the throat.” His music can best be described as soulful Indie folk with a profound ability to connect and resonate with audiences.
