For the last decade, local photojournalist Rich Owen provided images for the Walton Sun and other Florida Freedom newspapers. Not surprisingly, the most popular and sought-after photos were those from his sports coverage. Requests for images were granted through the local papers.
Now that Rich freelances in his "spare" time, he has created a page on his Web site, http://www.richard-owen.com/football/football.html, where fans can continue to see the same high quality imagery. While he continues to provide images at no cost to the high schools for use in the yearbook and school newspaper, there is a fee to parents and other fans to provide high-resolution digital images on CD that can be printed at any reputable printer. Although Rich has not been able to add volleyball this season, he is working to revise his schedule to include basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball and softball at Freeport and South Walton.
