Four Local Chefs are trying to make a difference by promoting Local Produce. Chefs Jim Richard of Stinky's Fish Camp, Todd Meisner of Blue Mountain Beach Catering, Dennes Webber of Harbor Grille and Lee Lucier of eat!, eat! @home, nosh and chefs at Marcus Pointe will be presenting a five course meal featuring Local Vegetables, sustainable seafood and environmentally-raised livestock on July 26, at Zampieri's Harbor Grille. Local Produce will be provided by Dragonfly Farms and EAT-Rite Produce Co. of South Walton. Dragonfly Farms does an excellent job of producing some of the finest local produce in the area. EAT-Rite Produce Company has been growing and delivering local Hydroponic Produce to SOWAL Restaurants for about 2 years. EAT-Rite Produce is expanding its services in August to include Homegrown Produce delivered to your home. EAT-Rite Produce Co. will be running a air conditioned mobile Produce stand up and down 30A starting in August (just waiting on the rig) and will host a Saturday Morning Farmers Market on the West End of 30A.
