Hey y'all from the Gulf County neck of the woods:
We've been renting at The Boardwalk at the southern end of Cape San Blas since January, and have loved it. Now April, with its sky-high weekly rent, is breathing down our neck--and we have not yet found a new place to live.
We are looking for a 3 bdrm/2 bath, between $1,000-$2,000 monthly.
We hope for a six month lease while we build a house, with month-to-month after the initial six months.
It is me, the husband, the 16 year old, two large dogs and two kitties.
(I know, we are a daunting proposition, but we are responsible pet owners and I keep a clean house.)
We can live in town (PSJ), or St Joe Beach, or here on the Cape, but we really do not want to be too far northward on the Cape.
Mexico Beach and/or Panama City are too far east (and Bay County does not allow dogs on the beach).
We do have a couple of possibilities, though none of them are ideal.
Our landlord may let us stay at our present abode in April because it's not yet rented. But that may well be quite a last-minute decision.
