Looking to stay over Spring Break!

I am currently looking to stay in So Wal over Spring Break!!! I have looked at several rental sites and am interested in Cottages of Camp Creek or Magnolia Cottages. We have a few questions on both of these and are looking for some help. We have always stayed in a Condo on the beach but we are looking for a more like home feel this time. My first question is what and how far is the beach access for these two places. My second questions regards places to eat nearby...last year we stayed withing walking distance to pier park which was great for dinner was thrilled with the rest of the area though. So my question is would we be able to walk from either of the locations or would we be driving to dinner???? Thanks in advace for your time
