Lunch place in Dothan?

I have to go to Dothan Saturday - can anyone recommend a good place for lunch in that area?

All I could remember from my last visit was Mellow Mushroom and a bunch of icky chains.

We always eat at McAlister's Deli. Yes it is a franchise but better in my opinion, than than your burger and fries place. I love their soup and salad combo.

Where the heck is the Mellow Mushroom? I always hit Gutherie's when I go through Dothan, though an hour later, I always wished I had rather stopped at the grocery store and eaten an apple and banana.

For what it's worth, though, it's been about ten years, my mom's friend died after eating bad oysters at that Hunt's in Dothan, which is owned by different people than the Hunt's in Panama City. I could never bring myself to eat there.

It's a pizza place - there's one in Destin too.

"Where," not "what." I like MM pizza, but didn't know that they opened one in Dothan.

I didn't know there was one there, either, but I bet they are "mellow" because they are using "shrooms" from the cow pastures!

Grate Things - If you don't eat there you should at least go and buy a whole or half of their caramel cake. They are to DIE for.....
