What: Making Turtle Tracks 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser

Where: M.B. Miller County Pier
Gulf World Marine Institute (GWMI), along with Panama City Beach Turtle Watch and Keep PCB Beautiful will host the 2nd Annual Making Turtle Tracks 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser on Saturday, April 22nd. Check-in begins at 7AM with the walk/run starting at 8:30AM from the M.B. Miller County Pier. All proceeds from the event will go towards the GWMI sea turtle rehabilitation program.

Participants will walk 2.5 K west towards Bid A Wee Beach, then return back to the County Pier for a total of 5K. Along the way, as a celebration of Earth Day, participants will learn about local sea turtles, shorebirds, marine mammals, and other local coastal wildlife.

8:30AM: Walk/Run Starts
Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles for the event. Water stations will be set up at the turnaround point, as well as at the check-in area. Food will also be available at the end of the 5K.
