I have them all over some of my plants as well. They stay in sections it seems and dont like all plants??

OK you local gardeners- here is another question!
How often should we run the drip irrigation- how many days/week and for how long?
jdarg,
Do you know if your landscaping is native or drought tolerant? That will make so much difference. If so you can just get it through a long dry spell with a good soaking from your drip system or by hand and not worry anymore.

Natives and drought tolerant, but planted in the last year I think (help me out here Beach SiO2!!)!
If they're not established yet, make sure you keep some moisture on the root balls and surrounding soil until they get rooted into your native soil. Just stick a trowel or wooden spoon handle in the root area and see if it comes out with any moisture/damp soil on it.
