The birthday boy is downstairs snoozing in front of the TV set. He told me today that he had made a decision. He said that when the TV dies, we're going to get a flat screen version. But not LCD, plasma. Or maybe it was the other way around. Merman declared one was way better than another. I think he'll be waiting 'til a much later birthday before he gets a present like that. He'll have to snooze low-tech for awhile.

I did get him a watch, though, which I'm sure he will happily flash while in SoWal. It's solar-powered so you know it's a perfect beach watch. I look out for my sweetie (and give him plenty of excuses to seek the sun ;-) ).

I'll convey all the good wishes when I shake him awake!

And Happy Birthday to the wonderful husband of the wonderful Miss Kitty, as well!!!
