Destiny Worship has a gift tree for Alzheimer patients and I picked one that asks for Mexican Music. I have no idea where to get a couple CDs, probably standards that are familiar. :dunno:Wal-mart does not carry, which surprised me. I need it by this week end dead line. Thanks and Merry Merry Shopping local!

Gipsy Kings can be found most places and they're awesome. Probably in Wal-mart in the regular rock section.

And before any smarty pants tell me I've misspelled gypsy, this is the way the band spells it.

Does B&N still have a World Music section? I know they got rid of lot of their CDs a while back.

But Borders at Pier Park in PCB does have a couple of stations set up where you can download and burn your own legal mix CD and you should easily find a lot of Latin stuff doing that. You'd just have to come up with something pretty on your own for the CD case decoration.

I haven't been there in quite awhile. Thanks for the heads up:wave:

The Mexican grocery next to Jambones has a nice selection of Mexican CDs. The Gypsy Kings is not Mexican music; it's Spanish music played by Belgian musicians.

Thank you all for your help!

Thank you! Everyone! I got a nice Christmas CD and some Mexican cookies to give there. It was hard to explain what I needed as no one in there spoke English, until finally I met the owner. Lovely gal German and Paola. I have since heard that their little food bar in back makes the best Mexican food. Certainly will give it a try soon. Kassie
