We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Grayton Beach recently. We have two young children, and Mexican food is always a big hit with them. We are planning to come back 1-2 more times this year. Can anyone recommend a Mexican restaurant near Grayton (no more than 10-15 minute drive)? Thank you.

A few miles north of the bay on 331 is the Taqueria which is family style. At Grand Boulevard on 98 just before Sandestin is Cantina Laredo - a chain which is more upscale.

SoWal misses Coco's and a family Mexican restaurant on 98 would do well.

Don Pedro's in the second strip mall west of 331. Same area as Chop Stix. Good food and great prices.

Don Pedros on 98 would be your best bet. Good food and reasonable prices. From Grayton, take 283 north of 98 and then turn left, going west. Don Pedros will be on your right in a strip mall next to Chop Stix.

Don Pedro's is great- but no margaritas. Ditto for the Taqueria.:sosad:

I feel like I should make this public service announcement- many people go to Mexican restaurants to drink margaritas!
