Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Silver Shells Resort in Destin will host its 5th Annual Fall Wine Walkabout on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the East Bar and Courtyard. The event benefits Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s cultural arts and arts education initiatives.

Chef Ruston Johnson presents a special menu featuring multiple culinary stations with heavy hors d’oeuvres paired with select fine wines courtesy of a variety of distributors.
“Once again, Mike Sable’s team at Ruth’s Chris stage an impressive culinary event as a valuable supporter of the arts,” said MKAF CEO Marcia Hull. “This annual event provides an opportunity for our members and art enthusiasts to learn the impact of MKAF’s cultural contributions to sustain a thriving arts and culture community for our residents and visitors.”
Cheryl Jones & Company, also known as the “Who’s Who” of entertainment on the Emerald Coast, is scheduled to provide the evening’s entertainment.
Patrons stay ‘til night’s end for the much-anticipated charity raffle. The MKAF Wine Pull has become so popular at this event that this year’s goal is to include a collection of 100 bottles of fine wines donated from wine enthusiasts, private wine cellars, distributors and restaurants. Purchase numbered wine corks to match your winning bottles of wine.
Tickets are $50 per person or $40 per person for MKAF members. Purchase tickets online atwww.MattieKellyArtsFoundation.org. All proceeds will fund MKAF’s dual mission of presenting cultural events and arts education outreach initiatives serving populations of children and families, including those with special needs and local wounded warriors.
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, which operates the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin, was established in 1995 as a champion of cultural arts and education in Northwest Florida. For more information on MKAF membership, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities, visitwww.MattieKellyArtsFoundation.org.
The year winds down with festivals, wine dinners, holiday toasts and a celebration of food and wine on the Emerald Coast. Cheers!
