Mr. Gyro Hero - New Airstream at Seaside

The airstream is in place (where 5 daughters bakery was) and getting set up. The couple who is running it have been serving gyros and Mediterranean food in the Seaside Farmers Market for years. I have always enjoyed their food and expect they will have great success in their new venture. Their family has been in the restaurant business for a long time.

Fudge yeah! One of my favorite saturday spots when i can stand to fight the traffic. Great to have their food available all the time

Mr. Gyro Hero
Olga and Burak Akkan, who specialize in healthy Mediterranean recipes, have been selling gyros, hummus and salads at the Seaside Farmers Market for the past 10 years. Now they are moving into an Airstream trailer to be full-time vendors on Airstream Row. “We’ve had so many customers who wanted to see us full-time in Seaside so we’re excited to be moving in an Airstream,” Burak Akkan says. The couple’s gyros and Mediterranean salads will still be on the menu, with additions that include beef, chicken and shrimp kebabs, mezes and falafels.
