STUDENT ART EXHIBITION (March 1 - April 28, 2023)
351 Student Paintings are on display at 4 locations: Amavida Coffee - Rosemary Beach, Freeport Library, South Walton County Coastal Branch Library and Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast
Presented by Rosemary Beach Foundation, Music in Pictures is an educational art initiative and juried art contest open to ALL students in grade K-12 in the Walton County School District--both public and private. The project promotes creativity, enhances learning, and encourages lifelong appreciation of symphonic music.
Over 4,000 students from 20 Walton County Schools participated in this year’s Music in Pictures. Students learned about 3 classical composers and then created a picture of their interpretation of the selection while the music was played. Each school selected their student paintings for judging and public exhibition.
