My Brother's Keeper

Obama said this yesterday, among other things "I am my brothers keeper" well if he is his brothers keeper then why is his brother still living in poverty in a hut in Africa?

Go figure that one.

And his aunt is living in poverty in substandard housing, I would image its "free" from one of those wonderful government projects in Boston.


If Obama is so interested in being his brothers keeper then why doesn't he take care of his own family.

I've always heard that "charity begins at home". Whats wrong with that picture.

I wasn't aware that either his aunt or brother had asked for assistance from him and been denied.

His half brother doesn't "live in a hut in Africa" - in his own words "I was brought up well. I live well even now. The magazines, they have exaggerated everything ... "

BTW that phrase choice tells us all we need to know about where you are coming from.

Beachho you are exactly correct. The pres brother does in fact live on 1dollar a week. And it is a hut compared to our living conditions. And his aunt does live in boston hud. I dont care much about this, but thats true.

They may or may not have asked for assistance, but if the pres is who he says he is he would have reached out wouldnt you think?

The pres says alot of things about himself that are completely false. He knows more than anyone that its simple these days to make people believe anything. Thats exactly why he's in the oval office today.

The hypocrisy is absolutely unbelievable. The problem is the american people are just not getting the info like they should and deserve.

The brother DOESN'T live on $1 a week ................... and since he has a SIX FIGURE book deal w/ Simon & Schuster I don't think the lack of (unrequested) financial support from the half-brother he has met ONCE in his life is hypocritical.

I thought it was a brown box and thought the Obama's were greenies, hence my vote for Obama. This is shocking news for me. I guess many were out of the loop, prior to the elections, when they donated a whopping $300 to saveobamasbrother.com for a bigger box.
