That anti-climactic feeling:sosad:
Nothing to really look forward to until..uh...spring (The one exception to this is along about Jan. 5)

Throwing away leftovers
Knowing that tax time is just around the corner and my life will again become a living hell.
Taking down the decorations. This year, I'm leaving them up til at least Jan 6.

I hear ya' too, DD. My house is staying decorated until Jan 6 this year as well. And, am enjoying every min. Something strange occurred this year: Sweet Pea and p***y did NOT bat around ornaments? Usually, I would come home to find a few ornaments in strange places and Sweet Pea's tail between her legs. But, then I realized it was p***y being the instigator and Sweet Pea just going along with him, thus taking all of the heat.

It's cold here, but cozy and I hope your cold goes away tonight in your sleep.

DD- Glad to see you

:wave:Everything you said love/hate- there with ya! I love the way you summed it up. That's why I try to come up with something everyday that's exciting- I hate to be bored. One form of relaxation for me is sitting down at the computer and visiting sowal with a nice warm cup of coffee. I can talk or be quiet, speak with one person or thousands, laugh or cry, be serious or silly, learn or play, and see the diversity and similarities of many viewpoints. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, you said what alot of people are thinking. I hope everyday for you is like opening up a beautiful present:love:

I felt a lot less of that "post Christmas let down" this year. Perhaps because I didn't go all out like years in the past. Just a tiny Norfolk Pine with one string of lights and one string of colored lights on the balcony at the apt. Listened to some select carols and watched one Cmas movie on Cmas Eve that I'd never seen- The Christmas Story - and then took a whirlwind trip to Baton Rouge to see the clan and was back feeling rather high after it was all over.

I have to have SOME kind of lights up year round on my porch/patio. I think my color of choice for Emerald Coast will be green. :D

I'm with you on C O L D - ready for
shorts and flip flops oh yeah!

Ugh - tax time  One of my favorite tax quotes:
