Never again will developers be stumped when it comes to naming that new clearcut gem in the suburbs. Pick a name from each column, starting from the left and going to the right. Instant gated community, just add soccer moms!:clap_1:

I remember years ago, when we were living in Atlanta, the newspaper had an article about subdivisions that were named after TV shows, and if the people who lived there were like their namesakes'. There was a "Falcon Crest" and a "Southfork" neighborhood. The reporter wanted to know if there were any scheming vixens in either. All he turned up was housewives. As this was almost 20 years ago, they were not yet desperate. ;-)

When we lived near Naples, Florida, seemed like every new subdivision that sprouted had "Pelican" in the name...Pelican Bay, Pelican Landing, etc.

So we created a fictitious one for our morning radio show which we called "Pelican Poop Point"...where all the Volvo-driving, Junior League soccer Moms supposedly lived...

...and promptly got a cease-and-desist order from one of the actual "Pelican" subdivision developers!:nono1:
