Nashville Songwriters Florida Sunshine Tour promoters have announced that Nashville-based country music songwriters Brandon Kenney and Phillip White will perform at five spectacular venues along the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida during the week of June 14-18, 2016.
The tour has partnered with Bud & Alley’s, Emerald Grande at Harborwalk Village, The Bay Restaurant, The Hub, and Boardwalk Beach Resort to bring the very best songwriters and musicians to where country music fans live, work and vacation.

Brandon Kinney
Songwriter Brandon Kinney is a Texas native and seasoned pro on Nashville’s Music Row who’s doing his part to keep the radio filled with great country songs. The proof lies in his growing list of hits including “Boots On" recorded by Randy Houser and named BMI’s 2nd Most Performed Song of 2009, "You're Like Coming Home" by Lonestar, “Off The Beaten Path” by Justin Moore, “No Can Left Behind” by Cole Swindell...to name a few.
Brandon’s latest contribution to the country charts, Craig Campbell's "Outta My Head," spent 54 weeks on the charts and became the 2nd longest charting song in Billboard history. Brandon’s songs have also recently been recorded by Chris Janson, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Justin Moore, Parmalee and Willie Nelson.
Phillip White
For hit music creator Phillip White, becoming a songwriter was practically a compulsion. “I couldn’t help it,” Phillip says. “I just always wanted to write songs”. Phillip is notable for co-writing such songs as “I’m a Survivor,” the omni-present theme song of the TV sit com Reba, and “I’m Movin’ On,” the Rascal Flatts smash that was named Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music in 2002. Phillip’s songs have also been recorded by such stars as George Strait, Kenny Rogers, Jo Dee Messina and Blake Shelton.
Most recently, Phillip landed two songs on Scotty McCreery’s platinum album “Clear As Day” including the hit single “The Trouble With Girls”. Phillip also had two of his songs featured on the soundtrack for the film Act of Valor. These songs were recorded by Jake Owen and Wynonna respectively. In addition, Darius Rucker recently recorded the song “Lost In You” that he and Phillip penned together. Phillip currently writes for Sea Gayle Music in Nashville.
