you had a very productive Saturday! :clap_1:

well, I did laundry, went grocery shopping, cooked for our tomorrow's annual Festival di Pantelones Bianca (celebrating CJ and Brokebackbluemt's 5th wedding anniversary - festival attendees travelled to Cinque Terra, Italia for the wedding). talked to allifunn for an hour on the phone and I worked hard posting about 50 times on sowal today...

You had a productive day too!:clap_1:

Soooooo.........what's everyone doing tonight/tomorrow? My day was truly exciting. I cleaned the bathroom. Did a load of laundry. Cleaned the kitchen. Dealt with dog hair. Visited daugher/grandson. Helped hang pictures.Took a nap. Went to grocery store. Cooked dinner. Thrilling, huh?

well let's see. i only slept 4 hours because i took about 6 naps yesterday. i got laundry done. when mr audie woke up he was soaking wet, he thought at first he'd wet himself, then we realized the stupid bed had sprung a leak. it was one of those mattresses that unzips at the top and has 7 water tubes in it. it sucked. anywho, we went and got my dream bed, the tempur-pedic. sure hope we like it for what it cost...... then we couldn't track down our friend shawn to help us unload it, since the furniture stores here do not deliver on weekends. we tied the bed into the avalanche and went on our merry way. we were able to get it unloaded and set up ourselves, but boy it wasn't pretty. made the mr. a chocolate chip cheesecake, meatloaf, and homemade macs and cheese for supper, and yes he ate it in that order. now i am thinking about hitting the hay...

I cooked a huge pot of tomato sauce which I will use to make tomato cream/vodka sauce tomorrow, served with rigatoni. Also, I made a big pot of saffron risotto which I will use to make risotto cakes stuffed with mozerella. Roasted turkey breast and fingerling potatoes. Got all my parm cheese grated, veggies and fruits washed, etc. Got lots more to do tomorrow!!!!! But, got the major stuff done tonight.

Soooo, I'm in Hong Kong now overlooking Hong Kong harbor. Not too shabby. I'll be teaching here this week Monday - Friday, but I got here Friday night so I could adjust to the time change and relax a bit before teaching. I don't have to cook for a week!:clap_1:

I read a very good book on the plane -- "Life Expectancy" by Dean Koontz. It a very enjoyable mystery about a guy who when he's born his grandfather predicts 5 horrible days in his life, along with the dates. The book chronicals how he handles each of these days and the times in between. It was a very funny book -- I had never read anything by Koontz before and I will look for his books in the future. The author has such a sense of humor. The book also has a nice food theme running through it, which is always a pleasure.

I also found out while I was here that I really screwed up a book order for an upcoming class I'm teaching at school and I've been scrambling here on email trying to fix the problem. Oh drat.
