Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if the house that they put at 395 and 30A was finished and if they were renting it, also. It used to be called Seventh Heaven, but I know it was torn down last year and sold and a new home was built there.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Do you mean the one 395 dead ends into heading south?

If so, they did an extensive remodel/addition and it was in the final stages of being finished last time I looked.

Ray Jackson is the builder doing that remodel. Looks like they ripped the top off of it and made it a bit taller. It will be a while before they are finished.

New House at 395/30A

Hi Everyone,

Just wondered if anyone had an update for the new house that was built at 30A and 395 in the old Seventh Heaven location...

I was wondering if it was going to be a rental home and if so, how to go about renting it.

Thanks so much for your help. :D

Could be they were in a situation where they got stuck with new building/zoning/hurricane code rules if they did a full demo on the land, and if they could come up with a way to keep 51% of the original structure, they actually had more leeway in terms of what they could do on that site.

Could be. I know that the Coastal Construction Control Line has moved farther north in many places. So maybe they got grandfathered in with the old CCCL because it was a remodel. Again, none of my business -- to the owners, I like the way it looks.

It looks like they are about finished with the construction. It seems to me that it has taken longer to remodel this house than it would have to build a new one. But none of my business --maybe less expensive to remodel than start over?:dunno: I like the updated style of the house.

It always takes longer to remodel...you must go backwards before you can move forward and this was an extensive remodel. I also like the new look.
