Hello everyone,
I've been a property owner in Inlet Beach since around 1998. I retired a few years back, and that gave me time to pursue my music, which before had been only a part-time passion. I sing straight-ahead jazz, performing songs in English and Portuguese.
In addition to recording and live appearances in the Atlanta area, I also host vocal workshops and run a jazz society in Dunwoody (suburb of Atlanta). Last year I released a CD, "Believe in Spring" that is currently available at Central Square Records in Seaside. A track from my CD was recently chosen as "Track of the Day" at allaboutjazz.com, and my CD has received airplay on the local jazz station in Atlanta, WCLK. Proceeds from sale of the CD are donated to our jazz society in support of vocal jazz education.

"Believe in Spring" is a journey through life, emotion, and most of all, great vocal jazz. Janet brings her warm and swinging vocals to a refreshing mix of ballads, swing, blues, and Brazilian songs. Joining Janet are Kevin Bales and Jez Graham on piano, Robert Dickson on bass, and Marlon Patton on drums.
