Just received a flyer on a new 100+AC mixed use development on 98 & East Hewett where 30A West comes in, it is being done by St Joe commercial. It will contain multi family, retail, commercial, etc. Also have noticed some smaller home subdivisions up East Hewett toward the bay being done by others. Looks like the small gap between SanDestin and 30a is getting smaller.
Does anyone know of others in that area, and since I know nothing about real estate is that property being sold at today prices or 2007's? Thanks

There are quite a few happening. I think the ones I've seen are reasonably priced for interior lots and that area is filling in fast. What prices are they listing?

St Joe has the corner property on the west side of E Hewitt and 98. I have not heard anything regarding their property lately. Most of the larger parcels on East Hewitt are owned by the State Forest. Bonezzi has a development called Eagle Bay on the southwest corner of East Hewitt and West Hewitt. Eagle Bay is on 35 Acres and will have single family homes, townhomes, office space and apartments. 3/2 Townhomes in Eagle Bay were selling pre-construction at $358K - $364K. They were released last week, and I think there may be a handful remaining. I have not heard prices on lots.

Sorry about the late reply, wife and her friends were in Sowal and I was Mr. Mom with a 17 year old boy- he did not like that!
There is Eagle Bay, Eagle Cove (I think they are different since Cove is just lots, running $300m interior to $900M on the bay), then there is Hidden Cove (not on the water but "cove" allows a higher price) releasing around $250m. The St Joe property is on 98 with East Hewett and as Kurt said that area is filling out fast, but if Greenspan keep jaw boning the "real eastate bubble", who knows what a good value is, I sure do not.
