Is Nick's reopening or are they prepping the space for another tenant?

I noticed they were doing cleanup/some demo the last couple weeks and now there are new roof trusses in place.

I thought I heard that they sold it, but I still see the for lease/for sale sign out front.

I thought they were tearing it down....graffiti and all. But new roof trusses It's a wonderful location for the right .....uhhh

Yep, they were tearing out the charred ones and adding new trusses, yesterday.

Yeah, I thought it was finally being torn down too............then I saw new trusses yesterday! For sale or lease sign was still up too.

There was a lot of talk about condos being built there but maybe the market killed that deal.

So was the purported $6 million selling price on the land. Makes sense that they couldn't get that, so decided to reopen until market improves.

The Nicks met with an engineer and decided to rebuild instead of demolish the building. They will reopen if nobody comes along to lease the building.
If they reopen, it will be open for lunch and dinner this go around.

There has never been better fried shrimp on this beach since they closed!
