Hey Ya'll
Tommy $$$ Bahamas at the Grand has an Antigua Quesadilla that works well
with a a glass of wine and then,,,, You can split a desert with your Fave
person and still have minimal caloric guilt.

Cheers,
SON

What about minimal $$$$ guilt? A quesadilla and a glass of wine? I can do that at home, and probably better. I need to be dazzled a WHOLE lot more to get us to that place.

I like your spirit.
I see now that more detail is required in the Nosh alerts.
I should have mentioned sitting on the veranda enjoying the cool breezes while watching the golden and brown haired children dancing through the shimmering waters of the fountain on the lawn,
the fact that the wine was a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay , The Quesadilla had grilled asparagus inside and that the pineapple upside down Cheesecake would be sure leave a good taste in your mouth.

Cheers,
SON

Just curious-driving on HWY 98 yesterday I noticed the treatment plant behind Tommy B's smelled rancid...did you notice this?:dunno: I couldn't help to wonder if people were subjected to the foul odor as they tried to relax outside.

It is confirmed,

Outdoor dining at the Grand depends on a steady South to Southwest
Beach breeze unless you did a funky smell

Just had lunch there yesterday. Didn't sit on the veranda tho- too dang HOT!. My friend had the Antigua Quesidilla and I have the Fish Sammich (nicer names on the menu, of course). She gobbled down her meal before I knew it and the fish was very lightly batter and perfectly cooked. Also had Crab Calloway (crabcakes) as an appetizer- a bit pricey but VERY good. Griddled crab cakes with a light coconut crust, served over a sweet chili mustard sauce. Garnished with Asian slaw and cilantro oil The sweet chili mustard sauce was superb.
Servers were very nice, not just ours but everyone who passed by our table. They mentioned that there will be evening concerts on the veranda later in the year when it get cooler. Wonder how that will work out with the treatment plant...

Maybe they will place bottles of Tommy Bahama island cologne at the tables, and you can spray the poop smell away in your vicinity. Of course, cracking open that bottle will add $30 to your meal;-)
