Hi everyone - first time "message board" user (ever). Take it easy if I make a mistake. Problem: interest rates are climbing, our enthusiasm for a home purchase is declining. Looking into long term (48 months) rental/lease. Sandestin through SRB area. Love Cypress Dunes, Summer Ridge, and others (what's not to love about anything that has the beach air surrounding it). 2-adults,non-smokers,excellent credit, career-oriented,48 month, locked rate, property taken off the MLS, 2000-2500 sq.ft., 2cg appreciated, as well as ameneties and golf carts (if applicable), and of course being closer to the beach is greatly appreciated, to begin July 1 (yes, this July YIKES). Thanks everyone, hope I did o.k. - - - Can't wait to be a part of SOWAL.

I have a 3 BR, 2 BA furnished condo about 400 yards from the beach. Complex has pool, fishing pier and lake. Would consider long-term lease with purchase option. Approximately 1200 sq. ft. 4th floor with elevator, 10 foot ceilings. Reply if interested. John 205-995-2175

If I were you, I'd reconsider buying a home, as opposed to renting... (IF you plan to be here 5 years or more)... Remember, Warren Buffett became one of the richest men in the world by following this simple principle:

"Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can't buy what is popular and do well."

No one wants to invest in real estate right now.... which is precisely why now is the perfect time to buy! There are some great deals to be had right now....
