Alot of people. Alot of young people. No problems yet but more people than I like here plus cold water. Probably our first and last spring break trip.
Lunch at Seagrove Market. $5.99 lunch special that includes beverage. Ridiculous and good.
Someone staying on 30A told my daughter that in Michigan where they are from, they don't allow construction from Memorial Day thru Labor Day during the tourist season. Of course, this is April but she is staying next to a construction site and not enjoying her vacation.
That happened to us last year in another house. During the summer. The workmen left their trash in our yard and driveway. The noise was all day long. Didn't enjoy outside so much - oh well. First time we stayed on 30A we went back to the rental agency because there was a huge construction project (east of Eastern Lake). They put us in something smaller for the same price. Oh well.
Young girls just pulled into the parking spot in front of the house next to us to go to the beach. GA plate. Maybe staying somewhere else but want to be at Seaside? No parking pass on dashboard. Does Seaside tow?
Enjoyed the Cafe 30A the other night. Sat at the bar and munched on a little bit of everything. Of course have been to Bud & Alley's twice. Stop at Modica and Amavida for coffee for the house.
Walk, ride our bikes. Drink coffee, water, alcohol. Eat when we're hungry. Tough choices at the beach. Most people we have ever seen from 'back home'. Never see anyone in June when we normally visit.
We know to take the back route, walking or riding our bikes to go to town center. No big deal. More to look at. More exercise.
Love sneaking through the back and exploring Watercolor and riding my bike to the Publix.
Concert tonight. Might bring the young and the bad out
Alittle windy again today. It can wear you out just sitting down
Another lovely visit.
