OCSO INVESTIGATES DEATH OF SPRING BREAKER
The Okaloosa County Sheriff?s Office is investigating following the death this morning (Sunday) of a 23-year old college student visiting Destin for Spring Break.
Philip Cameron Christian of Augusta Georgia was staying with a group of fifteen students from Georgia Southern University at a home located at 4643 Destiny Way in Destiny West.
Investigators say Christian and the others had been having a party and he reportedly went to bed around one a.m. Sunday.
Friends found him in his bed not breathing shortly after five a.m.
Christian was rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital in South Walton County but later died around 10:30 a.m.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
