TALLAHASSEE ? Leon County Circuit Court Judge Terry Lewis has ruled against Ray Sansom?s latest request to postpone his criminal trial.
Lewis, responding to a motion by prosecutor Willie Meggs, also ordered this week that Sansom, Jay Odom and Bob Richburg be tried together on grand theft charges.
The trial will begin March 21 with jury selection.
Sansom is the former speaker of the Florida House, Odom is a local developer and Richburg is the former president of Northwest Florida State College. They are alleged to have conspired to misappropriate $6 million in state funds.
