Drudge is reporting that Democrats are going to commence investigations into Bush administration officials. If it is anything more than a charade to placate the Bush haters in their base, they should simultaneously begin preparation en mass to leave D.C. and return to their home district forever.

The "Country First" crowd should have looked into this long ago. If true, this is among my many reasons for supporting Barack Obama in addition to reversing Bush's stance on stem cell research. Go Big "O"!

Unfortunately, he doesn't have much say in the matter, Congress is responsible for investigations like this. I wouldn't put it past some of the liberal dems going off on a witch hunt, but who knows.
It would be convenient to stick your head in the sand and say it doesn't matter, but it does matter. If you don't want to know what crimes may have been committed pay no attention to the hearings. Too many have died for the decisions this man has made to just walk away and ignore them. If nothing is to be found, so be it, but it should be looked into.
