1. Where are they accredited?
2. How easily do other schools accept their transfer credits?
The one to avoid is the University of Phoenix- expensive, unaccredited, and a lot of places don't recognize their transfer credits.
I'd start out by knocking out any general education classes I could through Gulf Coast CC and Northwest Florida State College's distance learning options. They're going to be far cheaper than a school like Troy, are recognized as 'real schools' in these parts by employers, and Florida higher ed has it set up so that it's easy to transfer credits within the system when it comes time to get a BA or BS.
